We met at a church dance at the end of 2002 when we were teenagers. Interestingly enough, that evening went really smooth and was void of any embarrassing moments. Leslie saw Derek, walked over and asked him to dance, and the rest is history!

We married in 2007 and have five amazing children - four boys and one girl. They're super special kids and we feel very lucky to be their parents. The kids are all best buddies and do everything together.

I LOVE to dabble in creativity! I've always had fun doing art and became a professional hand-lettering artist a few years ago. I've been focusing on my art more in recent years and have had some fun opportunities that I'm really grateful for. 

Podcasts and podcasting has always been interesting to me. In fact, it was me who came up with the idea to start this podcast (even though Derek may say differently!). I have embarrassing moments on the regular, so It's fun hearing about and sharing other people's embarrassing stories!

I've always enjoyed making people smile and laugh (whether intentionally or on accident). I'm really easy-going but not to the point that I'm a pushover. I like listening to funny experiences and watching funny videos because it reassures me that I'm not the only one that does stupid things!

When I'm not podcasting, I work as a voice actor and also provide marketing solutions to business owners. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my wife and kids. Some of my favorite hobbies are playing and watching basketball, watching TV shows and movies with the family, going for walks with my P.I.E. (partner in embarrassment), and creating fun, embarrassing memories to laugh at!
